Outdoor Writing

Claudio Ongaro has been published in several articles since 1989. He has written extensively on topics of his true passions: waterfowl, whitetails, and walleye. He has also written articles on trip destinations - some guided at remote fly in lodges and others on adventure trips across the country for the self planner. Other topics include moose hunting, treestand hunting, calling whitetails, and monster pike through the ice. Claudio is currently the 'Angling Answers' columnist for the Outdoor Edge Magazine.

As a full time high school teacher for six years and part time for six years, Claudio has developed the skills required to communicate effectively on paper, using digital media, or by speaking publicly. Claudio is available for writing assignments, lectures and speaking engagements on topics of his specialty which include duck and goose hunting, angling for walleye in lakes, and hunting for whitetailed deer. He has also taught Communication Technology at the high school level and is well versed in video editing, video recording, photography, digital sound editing, digital image manipulation/layout, and full scale multimedia authoring (CD-ROM development). Ongaro Outdoors owns and operates full scale professional video editing and multimedia authoring hardware and software. Ongaro Outdoors has recently launched its latest venture - Northern Giants™ Outdoors Video collection.
