Waterfowl Hunts - September 1st thru November 3rd

Mon - Wed or Thurs - Sat. Arrive 1 day prior - 2 hunts on days 1 & 2, and 1 AM hunt on day 3
You will be picked up at the airport or hotel in Edmonton the day before your hunt is to commence and returned to the airport or hotel on the last day of your hunt or a vehicle equipped with a GPS will be awaiting you at the Nisku Inn. The cost of your hunting license is $170 (subject to minor changes based on Government regulation and US exchange rate). Your license will be pre-purchased and awaiting your arrival at the Ongaro Lodge. Also in addition to the cost of the hunt. Bird processing is $3.50 per duck and $4.50 per goose. Winchester Ammo (25 per Box) is $13.50 for 3" and $16.50 for 3 1/2". Heavy Metal Ammo (25 per Box) is $25.00 for 3" and $28.00 for 3 1/2".
Deer Hunts - Whitetail and Mule Deer Archery & Rifle Hunts

Our six day rifle deer hunts are conducted in mid November during the peak of the rut. Call or email for actual hunt dates.
Rifle Rut Hunts are conducted during the peak of the rut which falls during the middle two weeks of November. November 18 is peak estrus at our latitude. During this time the dominant bucks must travel the heavily wooded terrain continually to contact estrus does. This make the wisest and oldest of bucks vulnerable to our method of hunting. We hunt from portable, yet heated, tower blinds at known crossings and travel routes.

*Velvet can be peeled at this time of year to expose beautiful hardened antlers.
Our six day archery hunts are from August 25 - 30.
Archery Velvet Antler Hunts are conducted in late August whereby we can take advantage of the relaxed summer feed pattern the big bucks are in. It gives me and the guides the opportunity to monitor trail cameras throughout the summer and keep an eye on antler growth. This allows us to select particular bucks to hunt without having to worry about changing feed patterns or about them leaving their home ranges in search of does.
The cost of your deer hunting license is approximately $370 US. Your license will be pre-purchased and awaiting your arrival at the deer camp.
You will be picked up at the airport or hotel in Edmonton the day before your hunt is to commence and returned to the airport or hotel on the last day of your hunt or a vehicle equipped with a GPS will be awaiting you at the Nisku Inn. It is recommended, due to the varied length of deer hunts because of tagging out and heading home, deer hunters be responsible for getting to and from the deer camp on their own which approximately 3 hours west of Edmonton. Directions will be provided after a contract has been signed.
Coyote Hunts - Rifle Coyote Hunts in January, February, & March

Our three & six day Coyote rifle hunts are conducted in January, February, and March from the Ongaro Lodge.
You will be picked up at the airport or hotel in Edmonton the day before your hunt is to commence and returned to the airport or hotel on the last day of your hunt or a vehicle equipped with a GPS will be awaiting you at the Nisku Inn. The cost of your hunting license is $110 (subject to minor changes based on Government regulation and US exchange rate). Your license will be pre-purchased and awaiting your arrival at the Ongaro Lodge.
Lake Trout Fishing Trips - Mid June to Mid August
Lake Trout Trips - Cold Lake, Alberta - 3 Days Campground Package - 3 Day Hotel Package available. Call or email for Package Pricing
Our three day Lake Trout trips are conducted from Mid June to Mid August. You will fish from Claudio's 19 foot Lund Pro "V" equipped with 200 hp engine, Scotty Electric Downriggers, the newest Shimano Gear, and Lowrance Electronics.
You will be picked up at the airport or hotel in Edmonton the day before your trip is to commence and returned to the airport or hotel on the last day of your trip or a vehicle equipped with a GPS will be awaiting you at the Nisku Inn. The cost of your fishing license is $50 (subject to minor changes based on Government regulation and US exchange rate). Your license will be pre-purchased and awaiting your arrival at the Cold Lake. This trip has two options: stay at the Camp Ground in the RV or stay in a hotel in Cold Lake.
